  4. Monthly Teleconferences • Teleconferences are held on the second Thursday of each month at 11 am ET. • The notes for the conference calls can be viewed on the IFTA Inc. website.

  5. GPS Project ITAC has been charged by the IFTA Inc board to report on electronic positioning and routing systems such as Global Positioning System (GPS). This report should include the functionality and reliability provided by these systems. To that end the ITAC is working on a dictionary of terms used when discussing a GPS type system. Once the dictionary is completed, ITAC will then begin defining what are the minimum requirements (strengths & weaknesses) for use of a GPS type system as a record keeping methodology.
