  3. Rastergrafik: • Auflösung (dpi) • Farbtiefe (1 bit – 32 bit) • Bildgröße (Dateigröße) • Ausgabegröße (Druck)

Bildformate: • Bitmap (*.bmp): universell, groß • JPG (*.jpg): komprimiert, klein, internettauglich, ideal für Fotos • PNG: vergleichbar mit *.jpeg, kann aber Transparenzen, Alphakanal • TIFF (*.tif): universell, groß • GIF (*.gif): beschränkte Farben, klein, Internetformat • Photoshopformat (*.psd): professionell, groß • GIMP-Format (*.xcf):vgl. *.psd
