What is a Career Counselor? A career counselor is a professional who helps clients to set up their career and attain their employment goals. Career counselors work with clients to show them methods on the way to successfully find new or totally different employment. Career counselors are employed by state departments of labor, community agencies, college systems, two and four-year faculty career offices, private guidance companies.
