A well-proved master of the drawing, with series of pieces of art on the Pablo Neruda’s sonnets, the author proves that no more than one line is needed for a drawing poetry to be created in a way to inspire and suggest the idea of love and Eros. Delicate with full of air, sensitive and full of passion, mystic with plenty of secrets, tender and loving, rich in fine nuances and vivid refrains, the drawing thought of the painter can be felt strongly on the paper, creating a real temple of love. Just where the words stop the drawing begins and the senses are completely obsessed and the yearning and dreams for love were born. Just free of canons and prejudices spirit, as that of Nikolai Maistorov, is able to create such fresh, vital and impeccable drawing for the great wonder of love. Krasi Aleksieva, 2012

  3. Nikolai Maistorov was born in 1943 in Sofia. In 1969 he gratuated Art Academy in Sofia. In 1995 he is presented in a separate article in 34 - tomnata World Macmillan Encyclopedia of Arts, London. A member of the UBA. Professor at the New Bulgarian University. It made over 31 exhibitions in Bulgaria and 12 exhibitions abroad - Holland, France, Germany and others. Numerous participations in group exhibitions and biennials in the world. He won the following awards:         2005. - National Award for Painting "Zachary Zograf" 2005. – Award "Silver Renaissance", Vazrazdane Gallery , Plovdiv 2003. - "Golden Pen" award for annual crop of gallery Makta and Classic FM         2001. - Winner of the "St. Cyril and Methodius "- Eleventh International Biennial of Graphics" Varna 2001 "        1998. - Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria's contribution to Bulgarian culture.        1996. - Award for painting - International Triennial of Painting "Sofia 1996"        1996. - Grand Prize for the annual exhibition of the UBA.        1987. - Best Graphics - International Biennial of Humour and Satire, Gabrovo       , 1986. - Grand Prize for Painting "Vladimir Dimitrov -" UBA.       , 1984. - Winner of "criticism" for painting, UBA.       , 1982. - Award (section figure) - exhibition of illustration, UBA.        1980s. - Award (section drawing), UBA.
