This project focuses on improving metadata management by identifying and linking personal names through a systematic approach. We aim to make these names available by utilizing NACO authorities and mining other relevant databases. Current activities include pulling records from FirstSearch, linking names in XTCat records, and undertaking authority work for FRBR compliance. Our goal is to enhance the usefulness of metadata in search and retrieval processes, ensuring synchronization and modification of records for better accessibility and relevance.
