This class will provide you with opportunities for: • Increased gross motor skills • Increased fine motor skills • Great exercise • Make your health care provider happy • Swimming lessons • Learn to hold your breath longer without turning blue like your two year old • Excuse to improve your appearance with laser eye surgery so you don’t need your glasses or contacts under water • Toning up your thighs • Working with bamboo • Baskets for Christmas presents • Purchasing the latest fashion in swimwear • Provide women with a reason to get their legs waxed • Provide men the opportunity to enjoy the general “beach view” • Looking like your pet Char-Pei with shriveled skin • Learning life saving techniques • Making a big splash • Completing your electives • Easy “A”

Underwater Basket Weaving 101Syllabus • Faculty: • Neptune, God of the Sea, PhD-TC (Doctor of Trident Carrying) • Credits: • 3 Pool Hours • Course Description: • Current theories and research related to underwater basket weaving are evaluated. Primary underwater basket weaving skills are emphasized. Management of common complications experienced during underwater basket weaving are examined. The impact of underwater basket weaving to your health is evaluated. The roles of the underwater basket weaver in providing quality and not soggy baskets are analyzed. • Course Objectives: • Apply an appropriate theory in evaluating strengths, deficits, and strategies of underwater basket weaving. • Examine multiple methods for basket creation under water. • Examine common problems experienced by the underwater basket weaver from a skin divers perspective. • Analyze the roles of the underwater basket weaver in managing health problems. • Evaluate current research related to underwater basket weaving. • Course Requirements: • Attendance is required with only one excused absence. • Swimwear is required. • Create 3 baskets. • Grading scale: • Pass – able to survive course without the need of the lifeguard • Fail – failure is not an option
