Abstract • Building pathology - the process of analysing the condition of a building and its components, and making recommendations for defect repair. • Building surveying students need to do this. • Fieldwork exercises are essential but classroom/desk studies, which can be used without having to locate suitable buildings within the study programme period, can have enormous benefits. • This paper examines a virtual resource, developed by and used at Leeds Met. We will look at the technologies, using 360° panoramic scenes with linked hotspots, used to create an interactive virtual tour of a Grade I 16th century hunting lodge.
