  3. Strengths What about VCS do you feel are strengths in your territory? Identify what has contributed to their success. • Heterogeneity • Single management • Flexibility of product • Storage independent • Vision VRTS • Software only company • Workload management

Weaknesses Please describe the weaknesses in your region for selling and supporting VCS —Identify issues that prevent you from selling these products or cause customer dissatisfaction • Lack of competence partners • No consultancy services local , expensive from other countries • Channel price is cheaper than enterprise pricelist for windows

  5. Opportunities Please describe the opportunities within your territory to increase revenue for VCS • GCO option - failover between subnets – geo • Work more closely with IBM • Try to get SUN closer , so VCS is not on their blacklist anymore

  6. Threats Please describe the Threats in your region – trends that may adversely affect sales of VCS • Fujitsu Siemens getting closer with Sun (one cluster product?) • Should better support sun volume manager and other LVMs • Price

Top 10 • Please list, in priority order, the top 10 enhancements to VCS that you would like to see over the next 12-18 months, and why: • User security on cli level • Suggestion : Should use /etc/group ? • Better LLT tools (debugging) • Better debugging tools in general • Make cluster dependencies • Better copy – paste option in GUI , especially for config GCO agent • More intuitive Gui , especially in win env – rename capabilities

  10. TOP 10 cont. • Better install script , when it fails , no need to re-input all data each time • Change service group dependencies easier without to unlink them • Simulate better these dependencies • Make sure MP are bugs free
