  3. Program design - Intermediate • Program made up of two semester programs • Three core days at Moorabbin campus– LIT, NUM, PDS and WRS • Two industry training days within Holmesglen wherever the specialty facilities are. • Change industry mid year.

  4. Vocational Skills At Chadstone campus • Stonemasonry • Wall and Floor Tiling • Solid Plastering • Joinery • Wall and Ceiling Lining • Painting • Furniture Manufacturing • Bricklaying • Plumbing • Carpentry • Roof Tiling

  5. Vocational Streams at Moorabbin campus • Beauty Therapy • Business Marketing • Community Services • Desktop Publishing • Electrical • Engineering • Hairdressing • Hospitality • Information Technology • Multimedia • Sport and Recreation

What’s different? • Semester based program (mid year entry possible) • Industry Competencies from Cert II , from three of four different certificates but rarely whole certificates. • Support for students with low literacy and numeracy • Support for individual students – student mentors • Counsellor on staff – careers, personal and youth friendly • VSSSA membership • Preferred entry into further Holmesglen courses

Program structure – Senior VCAL • Single day of integrated core delivery – LIT, NUM, WRS AND PDS • Industry stream – full certificate at Cert II or III level • Cert III Fitness - Cert III IT • Carpentry pre-apprenticeship • Electrical pre-apprenticeship • Cert III Event Management • Continued pastoral care and pathway support
