This independent study project focuses on creating an organized Wiki-Space for Spanish education targeted at grades 6-12. The Wiki-Space is self-designed and serves as a user-friendly resource for Spanish teachers. Each unit, including an introductory unit for teachers, is thoughtfully structured with a clear layout, instructional plans, and performance tasks. Through this project, I have combined my Spanish-speaking skills and educational knowledge, while reflecting on my learning journey via a blog. This resource offers insights into planning effective Spanish lessons and engaging students.

Steps taken to design the lesson When you click this link, the steps below will appear
Step #1: Unit Planner When designing this independent study, I wanted to teach myself how to utilize my Spanish-speaking skills and educational experience combined to create an introductory unit for Spanish teachers to use.
Step #4: Instructional Plan Each lesson in the unit is included in the instructional plan. The instructional plan offers a rationale for each lesson. It offers a detailed explanation of what the students will learn from the lesson, and how they will be learning the content.
Reflection throughout the semester: Blogging Instead of writing a paper every week to reflect on what I was completing throughout the semester, I decided to “go-green” and create my own blog. This allows the people that could potentially utilize my wiki-space to hear directly from me. In my blog I speak in-depth about the work I completed each week.
