  3. 1. Pilot 1 in HLanData Project Demonstrate the practical usability of the common sharing infrastructure. Develop some minimum common web services: Visualization Overlay Provide some value added services to some intermediate-level users.

  5. 2. Users an user’s needs Intermediate-level users They are the target of Pilot 1 services. They use LU/LC layer with their own information. Their needs include queries and reports, advance visualization, advance overlay, spatial and temporal analysis, downloads and uploads. This group includes technicians of the Public Administration at different levels; public entities from different sectors (urban land, forest and rural environments); private companies; Universities; architects and engineers.

Rural areas categorization Soil sealing studies. Urban planning and spatial planning development. Environment Basic information for environmental authorisations: integrated, impact, conditions. Possibility of modifying the symbols of the thematic layer. Thematic map printing and editing. Editing function. Surface and distance measuring tools in the screen. Layers’ metadata consultations.
