Preview and Mark the questions • Circle directive words, such as which sentenceor what is. • Underline the description of what you must look for or do to answer the question, such as best combine sentences 4 and 5. • Highlight or double underline words that are qualifiers or modifiers, such as bestor most.

  5. Let’s practice: • Using the strategies on which we just took notes, read the first question, #150, and mark it. Be prepared to share!
