Exploration and participation cultural events Assignment for pupils : Make a list of similarities and differences in e.g. • The coolest shop in town • My favourite homemade food • Celebrations in my country • The way we do things around here Interview students in another country about: • Food or customs or traditional music etc.

  9. Assignment : design a new event : choose between language learning, culture or productive learning or make a combination. Go to MYSN/events and upload your ideas in the event “ best event idea”.

Online traineeship : pedagogic competence Student teachers act as online mentor to secondary school students (e.g. If I could travel to another country) Student teachers give feedback to help the pupils to improve their English. They start by encouraging!!! Focus on few important generic mistakes

Peer consultation • Discussions of online classroom dilemmas. • For empowerment • To practice professional discourse • To share new ideas about classroom management and teaching • Involvement of expert teachers • Possibility to have international community of practice • Complementary to mentoring classes
