  4. Governor’s Directives to ADOT • Identify federal funding options • Continue to explore “Adopt-a-Rest Area • Investigate use of inmate labor • Seek local government or civic partners

  5. Actions to Date • Two attempts at “Oasis” candidates • Met with Dept of Corrections • Contacted USDOT and congressional delegation • Adopt a rest area • Other federal funds
