The Monash Aerospace Rocketry Society aims to design and build a chemical hybrid rocket to reach an apogee of 20,000 ft, featuring an inbuilt recovery system. Our team will compete in the AYAA National Rocket Competition, applying learned skills and techniques while establishing a lasting interest in aerospace engineering. We plan to grow our active membership to about 25 and enhance the profile of the Monash Aerospace Program. With our hybrid engine prototype developed using N2O oxidizer and paraffin wax fuel, we are preparing for static thrust tests and future launches.
