Accelerator Coordination Meeting Agenda and Updates (Sept 26 - Oct 1, 2011)

The upcoming Experimenters’ Meeting on September 26, 2011, outlines the transition of machine coordination to the Operations Department, effective October 1, 2011. Operations Coordinator, appointed from the OD (Specialist), will oversee coordination with Marty Murphy as primary and Paul Allcorn as backup. Regular meetings will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 AM, continuing to utilize the electronic work list. Coordination details, including machine status updates and study requests, will be communicated via MCR Elog and the modified Notify system.

  2. Accelerator Coordination When – October 1, 2011 @ 0001 The RunCo will turn machine coordination over to the Operations Department Operations Coordinator will be from OD (Specialist) We will have a primary and backup (monthly assignment) Marty Murphy and Paul Allcorn

  3. Coordination Continued Meetings will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Electronic Work list will continue to be used MCR Elog will be main source for information Will maintain a schedule on the Web Channel 13/Notify will be reformatted to match the program.

  4. 0900 Meetings Meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Friday Meetings will be at Wilson Hall Run by the Operations Coordinator Meetings will have same format Machines/Systems/Exps give status reports and make study/access requests Studies and accesses scheduled (when possible)
