Proposal • Direct staff to initiate scopes of work and contracts for recommended projects • Total package up to remaining 2010 budget (approx $110,000) • Approve sole source recommendation for work identified for SBW • Allow staff the flexibility to mix and match among projects depending on final scope and cost estimates

Test RTU Signature Protocol on Heat Pumps • Add heat pumps (HPs) with web-enables T-Stat • Anomalous performance data on 10 HP in BPA project • Research Questions: How well will protocol work on HP systems? • Sufficiency of daily average temp • Many months with AM heating & PM cooling • Other HP-specific issues? • Propose to install monitoring on a new site • 3 HPs for initial 24 months • Potential ETO site in Beaverton, OR • 20,000sf veterinary hospital, each HP serves single zone • Data to be added to Regional RTU Research Results Database • Analysis: Similar to previous, added report for heat pump-specific issues and findings
