School Grounds Committee. What we have done We got a new bike shed and Gray’s School of Art helped us paint murals on the side. We got a shed and we called it the Hoosie and we recently got material put on the roof. We now have an outdoor learning classroom. . . What we still want to do.

  1. School Grounds Committee • What we have done • We got a new bike shed and Gray’sSchool of Art helped us paint murals on the side. • We got a shed and we called it the Hoosieand we recently got material put on the roof. We now have an outdoor learning classroom..

  2. What we still want to do • We would like to see new playground equipment and for it to be treated properly. • We would like to see a rota for the court so that everyone gets a chance at court.

  3. Rights Respecting School Committee • What we have done: • We had a open morning • We have had quiet time assemblies • We have filmed a video on rights • We have put posters around the school • We have discussed rights of the child to the school and at the open morning we discussed racism and why it is bad

  4. What we plan to do • Discuss with the school about racism and the child rights again • Finish or make a new video on child rights • We would like to have a pupil parliament on child rights

  5. Playground Committee • The Playground Committee have been working hard to keep the playground clean and tidy. In total we found 113 pieces of litter in the court. • A massive improvement in the mole zone, 15 pieces of litter there! In the red zone: 67 pieces, • In the yellow zone :69 pieces of litter and in the green zone: 16 pieces of litter. That is a total of 411 pieces of litter . The play ground committee have been inviting parents to come in and help at play times with help from Kerry Mitchell. • We have paper recycling bags in all classes.

  6. Things we wouldlike to do • 1. Get better bins, • 2.Clean out the space behind the DASH shed • 3.Hold another raffle competition • 4.Get a better compost bin • 5.Put a bin by the tuck shop

  8. Done What we have achieved: • We held an open morning • We took part in the Giving Tree appeal • We also sent a cow to Africa • Bags to school • Archie foundation

  11. Last year at the open morning the Health Committee had a stall. At our stall we had a healthy packed lunch and an a unhealthy pack lunch to advertise how to eat in a more healthy way. The Health Committee

  12. Next year we hope to raise money for charity by Having .Open mornings .School quiz on Health .Have a health meeting .TootieFrootie day These are some of our goals and we will probably think of more over the next year :) Next Years Goals

  13. JRSO • Hi, we are the JRSO's for Glenbervie Primary School. We are here to tell you what we have been doing over the year. JRSO stands for Junior Road Safety Officers.

  14. What we have achieved and still to do • Since we have been JRSO's we have organised an open morning for parents and teachers. We had a stall with our information about us and what we do. We also teach pupils about road safety. We did a survey on how pupils travel to school. We would still like to have a competition for pupils. • Thank you for listening! Out

  15. We put out bird feeders and we feed them every week, then we bought planters and pupils planted flowers and vegetables in them. We have repaired the butterfly house and we have had a stall at the coffee morning which Fraser was in charge of. We have also put up and decorated a noticeboard in the GP room.   16. We would like to buy and put out wildlife homes and we would love to put out a mini pond in the harveygarden. We would also like to find out the school’s carbon footprint. To do
