  1. MAKING A PULLEY Question: Which simple machines are used to make it work? Prediction: wheel and load.

  2. MATERIALS • Rope • Milk container • Two cotton reels • Two coat hangers • A jug of water to poor into the milk container.

  3. STEPS • Get the 2 coat hangers and the wheel. • Cut the bottom of the coat hanger. • Untangle the twist and put the wheel in the coat hanger then twist it back up. • Tie the rope to the top of the bit that is twisted and do the same to the other hanger. 5. Then get the milk container then put the other coat hanger upside down on the handle. And tie up the milk containers handle then it is hanging and pull it in there and you made your pulley!

  4. RESULTS! Pull the string and the milk container will go up and down. You have to tie it up otherwise it will come undone. We discovered a pulley.

  5. CONCLUSION! Our prediction was correct because it had a load and a wheel and we made a pulley! By CHISSY AND ELLIE!
