This project encompasses a thorough evaluation and development of organics recycling technologies. It includes assessing the existing solid waste system's performance, preparing a 20-year system pro forma, and conducting a desktop study of potential organics recycling technologies. Deliverables will consist of a detailed report on technology evaluative factors, a request for proposals for organics recycling technology, and an evaluation of RFP submittals. Additionally, presentations will be made to the Board of County Commissioners and other stakeholders to discuss findings and recommendations.
