  2. The Portfolio • Total assets (August 19): $951,742 • Total assets (January 1): $854,910 • Year to date performance: +12.18% • S&P 500 performance: +15.19% GTSF Investments Committee

Commentary of Portfolio Performance • Performance is about in line with expectations • We actively carry about a 70% correlation to the S&P 500, so performance is broadly in line • Alpha performance came mostly from industrials and services, exposure to gold hurt performance GTSF Investments Committee

Market News • All eyes on the federal reserve • Equity prices have risen on lower volumes this year; mixed over the sumer • Corporate earnings mostly beat expectations • Treasury yields increased as fears of Federal Reserve tapering its Quantitative Easing ($85bn/mo bond buying program) increased and are beginning to solidify GTSF Investments Committee
