Disaster Response Training for Architects, Structural Engineers and Building Officials • Become a registeredSafety Assessment Evaluator and be prepared to help local governments perform accurate assessments of buildings after a disaster. • Thursday, March 27, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm • Georgia Power Training Room • 960 Key Street, Macon GA 31204 • $150.00 • 6 AIA CES HSW Lus • Register at www.aiaga.org/disaster • Lunch will be on your own from 11:45 am – 1:00 pm. Join attendees at local restaurants. • Architects, Structural Engineers and Building Officials across the country are using the Safety Assessment Program (SAP) from the California Emergency Management Agency (CalEMA) to train for assessment of buildings following a disaster. • Participants will earn a California-issued Office of Emergency Services (OES) badge in addition to 6 AIA/CES HSW LUs. • Attendees will also receive a training booklet and the ATC 20 and ATC 45 Assessment Guides to carry in the field if you register by March 10. • Join us for CalEMA SAP training in Georgia!
