  2. Telecom Program Goals Our goal is to prepare the students to succeed in the field of Information Technology. While the student progress through the program, they will have the opportunity to prepare for both A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications. Because they are dual-enrolled at Mount Wachusett Community College, students also earn college credit (7 courses)

  3. The Cisco Networking Academy Program The Cisco Networking Academy program is a comprehensive eight-semester/560- hour course that teaches students to design, build, and maintain computer networks. Students are also prepared for industry standard certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP™), and Network+. The Networking Academy program combines lectures and online learning with hands-on laboratory exercises in which students apply what they learn in class while working on actual networks.

  4. The Microsoft IT Academy Program The Microsoft IT Academy Program is a global IT learning solution that connects educators, students, and communities. The program reaches students during their early IT experience and continues throughout their professional careers. It is a life-long learning model of continuous improvement.

  5. Dual Enrollment Beginning with the graduating class of 2008, students who were enrolled in Telecom Program  and successfully completed the Networking Academy courses received up to 26 MWCC college credits (7 courses). Students are considered dual-enrolled in both institutions. Credits are fully transferrable to other colleges
