  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • Welcome to the house of the LORD for worship this 23rd Sunday after Pentecost. As we worship together today, the hymns, prayers and Scripture readings focus on our lives of thanksgiving and service since we have been cleansed from our sins through Jesus. May God bless your “thankful” worship!

  6. Prayer before Worship • Praise to you, O God, maker of all things. You gave me life and breath. You sent your Son to cleanse me from sin and your Spirit to make me glad. Thank you for providing me with all that I need to live. Especially I thank you for _____ . To you be honor and glory now and forever. Amen.

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

  9. Trunk or Treat News • Where: Key to Life • When: October 27th 4pm – 6pm • Candy or cash donations are still welcome • Service teams 4 and 5 are scheduled to volunteer

  10. Men’s Club Annual Vets’ night to honor our past and present servicemen and women. Happy time is at 6 with dinner at 6:20. This year’s speaker is Kevin Hermening Monday, October 28th

  11. Blood Drive St. Peter hosts another blood drive on Monday, November 18th from 1:00-6:00 PM in the church entry. The need for blood in Marathon County is huge. Plan now to give if you can. Invite a non-churched neighbor, co-worker, or friend to come with you!

  12. Craft & Home Business Expo Coming • Saturday, November 23rd, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at St Peter Lutheran School. Reformation Presentation • Thursday, October 31, at 7pm • Pastor Nathaniel Biebert will give a slide presentation on "Lutheranism: Its History and Heritage in Modern Pictures." at Grace Lutheran Church in rural Wausau. • Please RSVP with your pastor or with Pastor Nathan Biebert • (715-675-3751).
