  11. Mission Education – What to Emphasize God is present everywhere, so How can we learn of God’s activity around the world? We are all God’s children, so What connects me to my brother and sister? What makes us different? We all experience joys and sadness, so What are the parts of my life that bring me joy/sadness? What brings joy/sadness to young people’s lives in other places?

  12. Mission as Friendship As we teach mission and lead mission with children and youth, always ask: “How can our lessons and activities build a sense of relationship between our young people and their brothers and sisters around the world?”

  13. The Rule of LOVE L O V E Listen to what children and youth care about Offer the gifts that God has given to them Value the concerns of our friends here and around the world Equip our friends with tools to transform their communities

  14. Practical Ideas for Mission Education • Study a country or region • Learn their games, songs, crafts • Connect with a mission co-worker in that region • Use Skype or Google HangOut
