Outcomes • Participants will leave with: • A common awareness and information regarding the EETT reporting expectations. • Clarity regarding the evaluation and reporting roles and responsibilities of the SD DOE coordinator, the Evaluation Team members, and the site director and internal evaluator. • An internal evaluation process. • An understanding of next steps.

Reporting Tools • State Online Pre and Post Survey • www.k12.sd.us • Must use individual ID’s • Monthly Reports • Due last day of each month (August 2008 – July 2009) • Annual Performance Report (Directions for completing the APR are found in the Manual for Submission) • Pages 1 - 3, due September 18, 2008 • Remainder of APR November 30, 2008 • Project Narrative Cover Sheet and Project Narrative • Narrative Coversheet, due September 18, 2008 • Narrative due November 30, 2008

Reporting Documents Review • Individually review documents and write down questions on “Review of Reporting Documents” handout. • At your table, appoint a facilitator and recorder. • Task: • Share your questions with others at your table • Come to agreement about three questions from each document to share with the large group. • Write on chart paper and post • Panel Discussion

Evaluation Plan Peer Review • Share copies of your action and evaluation plans with table mates. • Individually review plans using “Critical Friend Review Form”. • Share findings with project leaders. • Revise plans using “critical friend” comments. • Share highlights of revised plans with large group.

  11. Overview of State Evaluation • Three on-site visits • Fall • Winter • Spring (or Fall 2009) • Technical Assistance at a distance • Email • Phone Calls • DDN sessions • Other as needed
