Who Invented It? Many people have claimed they invented it. Some of the inventors/contributors are: Paul Nipkow George Carey Philo Farnsworth (He got the patent)
Design Process • Started off as a radio and film • Then Selenium tubes were invented • The tubes can transmit images • Screens were made • So were speakers • Then they made the T.V. • Ideas for it came from telegraph, radio, and projector
When and Where it was Made • The first television was introduced in 1927 • It was made in Great Britain
Longevity • The T.V. is still used today by millions of people
How it Affected Us • T.V. affected us because it gave us an easier way to get news • It entertains us • We can see anywhere in the world without having to go there. • (ex: Superbowl)
