  2. Many people have their own perception on how to become a Christian. To become one, they have set a variety of practices that could label them as followers of God. Inclusions to these are going to church on Sundays and giving donations to religious institutions. However, none of these are true depictions of the ‘True Christian Way’.

  3. Turn Away from Sin The starting point on how to become a Christian is admitting that you are a sinner and asking for forgiveness. Acknowledging your misdeeds and faults is not enough. It calls for a response and that is parting away from your sins that consume your individuality.

  4. Believe and Let God Rule over You After turning away from worldly practices such as selfishness, anger, and greed, it is time to accept and welcome God into your life. Believe and let Him be the center of your life. This means, you will obey His commandments and entrust everything to him.

  5. Pray to God with Faith and Believing Prayer is a medium of communicating to God. There is no special formula on how it should be uttered. Recitation of prayers starts from the heart. Simply impart your gratitude and believe that He had forgiven and saved you from your sins. In addition, if you are confused and feeling lost, ask for guidance and let Him lead you to the right track.

In other words, a conversion from the sinful self to an obedient follower of God should be established. Only in this manner, relationship with God will be restored and consequently, it will depict the ‘True Christian Living’.
