P1 VC Responsibilities • P1 vice chairs are expected to : • Attend monthly meetings • Help the P2 vice chairs fill out the event forms • Set up an event with the P2 chairs and vice-chairs • In the spring, the vice chair would be expected to set up an event and fill out the paperwork on their own.
National Initiative • 7.0 Million people are undiagnosed in the U.S. and diabetes happens to be one of Memphis's major health concerns. • American Diabetes Association (http://www.diabetes.org/diabetes-basics/diabetes-statistics/) • We have the potential to help patients postpone and prevent type 2 diabetes.
