  1. Daniel’s seventy sevens. Dan 9. 24 – 27; Dan 9 verse 24; [Seventy sevens] (of years =490 yrs) are decreed. for your people and for your holy people to finish transgressions, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. (v25) Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and build Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the Ruler comes, there will be [seven ‘sevens’,] (of years = 49yrs). And [sixty two sevens] (of yrs= 434 yrs). It will be rebuilt with the streets and a trench, but in time of trouble (v26) after [sixty two sevens] (of yrs = 432 yrs) the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come (antichrist) will destroy the City and Sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: war will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. (27) He will confirm a covenant with many for [one seven] (of yrs = 7yrs) in the middle of the seven (3 ½ yrs ) he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of the temple he will set up the abomination that causes desolation until the end that is decreed is poured upon him.

Daniel 9:20-27 - The Calculation:- Verse 24: Seventy Sevens (of years) = 490 years total This is broken up or divided off:- Verse 25a: Seven Sevens (of years) = 049 years total (From the rebuilding of Jerusalem) Verse 26: Sixty Two Sevens (of years) = 434 years total (Cutting off of the Anointed One) Verse 27: One Seven (of years) = 007 years total (Conforming & Breaking of the covenant) 490 years total (v.24)
