Exploring the Timeless Beauty of Chinese Architecture

Discover the rich history and unique features of Chinese architecture, from the iconic Wild Goose Pagoda built in 652 during the Tang dynasty to the Lihue Pagoda of Hangzhou, constructed in 1165 AD during the Song dynasty. Traditional structures, often made from red or grey bricks and wooden elements, are designed to withstand earthquakes but remain susceptible to fire. Curved roofs and consistent architectural principles define the style that has evolved over centuries while retaining its core characteristics. Thank you for engaging with this presentation on a cultural treasure.
