CERN-BARC Collaboration: Grid Monitoring and Fabric Management Development Progress (Q2 2005)

The CERN-BARC collaboration has successfully developed and commissioned the first version of the Gridview visualization tool for monitoring the LCG. It is currently in use for the Service Challenge 3 tests. Additionally, significant advancements in fabric monitoring include the enhancement of the Lemon sensor with new metrics and improved modular configurations, coupled with security upgrades. A total of 2,259 bug fixes have been implemented in the LEMON software. Furthermore, Quattor installation at BARC has taken place, with positive feedback provided to CERN, and preparatory work is underway for LEAF/CCTracker development.

  1. CERN-BARC CollaborationSummary- (April –June 2005) • Grid Monitoring – Gridview - Visualization tool for LCG. First version has been developed and commissioned. It is being used for monitoring Service Challenge 3 tests.
