  4. But its not that simple…. So it went pear shaped, but why? Method of award is not suitable Cheap data is cheap for a reason. • Low grade labour • No validation control • No data management Good data costs money

  5. Why does data cost? • The right equipment - £ • Useable software - £ • Trained Surveyors - £ • Data control systems - £ • Data Audits - £ • Customer Services - £ Data quality is a function of the cost
