  3. A few key dates • 29 March 2004 Groundbreaking ceremony • 21 December 2005: Opening ceremony • 8 January 2006: First trade exhibition • By the time ITU Telecom World 2006 opens, over 40 events will have been held at AsiaWorld-Expo, including full-house events.
