  3. Grading Grading Guidelines • Two Exams: 40% each • Midterm : 7 Apr. 2010 (18 Farvardin 89) • Assignments and Projects: 10% • Attendance : 10% • Minimum 80% attendance and minimum 60% marks are necessary to clear the course.

Course Content Course Content • Chapter 1: Network Fundamentals: 2 week • Chapter 2: Physical layer: 2 week • Chapter 3: Data link Layer : 2 week • Chapter 4: Network Layer : 2 week • Chapter 5 : Transmission layer: 1 week • Chapter 6 : Application Layer : 1 week • Chapter 7 : Structured Cabling : 1 week
