  3. Key Vocabulary The perimeter of a polygon is the distance around the outside of the polygon.

  4. Perimeter Perimeter - add all sides. 7mm 3mm 7mm + 3mm 20 mm

  5. Perimeter Perimeter - add all sides. 5 units 4 units 2 units 7 units + 1 unit 19 units

  6. Perimeter Perimeter - add all outside sides. Remember it is the distance AROUND the outside! 3 units 4 units 3 units 3 units 6 units + 10 units 29 units

  7. Perimeter Perimeter - add all sides. Sometimes you need to figure out a side 6 cm 3 cm 6 cm + 3 cm 18 cm 3 cm 6 cm
