Meet David: A 14-Year-Old with a Unique Journey from Russia to Ohio

Hi, I'm David, but friends call me Matt. Originally from Russia, I've spent much of my life in Italy and now Cincinnati, Ohio. Due to family circumstances, I've lived with my cousin, who is now in the military, and my current adoptive parents. I've got a brother who's tough and a sweet sister. My favorite things include mac & cheese, South Park, and music from Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. I enjoy ice hockey, lacrosse, and playing Xbox. My best friends are my cousin, dog Jack, and two pals from school. I'm all about laughter, but I care deeply about the world around me.

  2. Introduction of me • My name is David but people here know me here as Matt • I am currently 14 • I am originally from Russia but I lived in Italy for a long time, but now I live in Cincinnati, Ohio.

  3. Introduction of my family • My parents couldn’t take care of me so I lived with my cousin in Italy, Michigan, and now currently Cincinnati. • My cousin went into the military so I moved in with my next closest relatives which are now my current parents. • I now have two siblings who are both older which include: a brother who isn’t the best, and a sister who is the nicest in the family.

  4. My best friends • My best friends are probably my cousin, Jack (my dog), EA, and here Scott and Bentley. • I like these people because my cousin and jack I lived with, EA is my best friend at school, and here my best friends are Scott and Bentley because they were here in the beginning while I was here.

  5. My favorites • My favorite food is mac & cheese, color is blue, movie is , TV show is south park, snack Oreo cookies, music is Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, holidays are Chanukah.

  6. My hobbies • Some of the things I like to do on my free time are ice hockey, lacrosse, scuba diving, snowboarding, air soft, soccer, football, and definitely playing my X box 360.

  7. Happy time • Some things that make me happy are my dog Jack, and Dave and scuba diving in the Carrabin with all the fish.

  8. Sad things • Things that make me sad are people littering, and the war we fight in Iraq.

  9. Knowing • Something you might want to know about me is that I like to joke around and do pranks.
