  2. Dogs • Biggest case in the United States. • Thousands found chained up. • Normally found with bruises or rib cage showing. • Some found hairless.

  4. “Street Fighting” • Used to show who is the tougher man and who has the tougher dog. • Alleyways, street corners, and playgrounds

  5. “Hobbyist Fighting” • Used for entertainment and money. • Also known to be the “least violent”, according to the SPCA

  6. “Professional Activity” • The dogs are raised to fight • Fight for money, entertainment, and in some cases bloodshed. • Winners receive food and small rewards • Losers get nothing and sometimes are killed.

  7. Puppy Mills

  8. What are they? • Places that sell dogs, with no proper care and no record of the dog’s state. • Normally mix breeds together without research first. • Have the highest cruelty rates in the world.

  9. Biggest Risk for Illness • Some are born with health problems. • Others from lack of care and treatment. • The highest right now are Heart and Kidney Disease.
