  1. H Physics – Reaction Time Lab Objective : Test out your reaction time while reviewing some basic physics Report due ( composition book ) : 9/2/14

  2. Procedure • Find a partner ( form a group of 2 ) – list names in report • Grab 1 meter stick • Partner holds meter stick while you are ready to grab it • Partner drops meter stick vertically / you grab it • Record amount of drop in cm • Repeat drop 5 times, average value • Switch roles

  3. Data • Table with values from 5 reps

  4. Conclusions • May include questions • Questions for Reaction Time Lab: • Describe in detail any sources of error • Were any of your 5 data values very different than the others? If so, what would/could you do about it? • Convert your average drop “time” into an actual time
