  1. Making nouns plural Español 1

  2. If a noun ends in a vowel (a, e, i, o, u), add ‘s’ to make it plural • Silla- • Boligrafo- • Estudiante- • Libro-

  3. If a noun ends in a consonant (d, l, n, r, etc) add ‘es’ to the end. • Profesor- • Papel- • Cartel-

  4. If a noun ends in ‘z’; change the’z’ to ‘c’ and add ‘es. • Lapiz- • Nariz-

  5. Articles • There are 2 types of articles: definite and indefinite. • There are singular, plural, masculine, and feminine forms • Articles must agree in number and gender with the noun they modify. • El libro- Los libros • La silla- lassillas
