  2. NQA Training Objectives: This workshop will discuss the direct opportunities for developing new training opportunities, primarily in our core product standards,to stimulate a life cycle relationship with management system implementers.

  3. Outputs: • To identify and agree 2 actions for agents to undertake to support the growth of training in their region • To identify and agree 2 actions for NQA to undertake to support the agents in this Sector.

  4. Agents who want to represent NQA Training • Italy • Japan • NQA Nordic • Hungary • Russia • Rumania • Czech • North Cyprus • Southern Cyprus • Taiwan • Indonesia

  5. NQA Training Planning • Do you see training as an opportunity to support certification and gain more clients • Yes • Do you see training as revenue stream • Majority yes • Do Agents already undertake training • Majority Yes but not accredited

NQA Training The market place • Do your competitors offer training • Generally ( not everybody knows their competitors) • Do existing clients have training needs - how are these fulfilled • Most provide some unregulated courses • What training courses need to be offered – isthe market place for each agent in the same position for each client. (what is their focus this year) • Generally QMS, EMS,OHSAS - Lead and internal auditor • North Cyprus food • CSR Russia • IMS

NQA Training The market place • Is there government or international funding available to support training. • Most recognised there was • Accreditation IEMA, IRCA IOSH • All require accredited course most happy with current accreditation – Italy expressed a preference toward IRCA for EMS Marketing • Generally passive not proactive

NQA Training budgeting • Do you work in collaboration with training organisations or consultants • Some do and are carful with managing this relationship • do you have existing revenue targets for training services • Generally not resource • Are you organised to manage training – do you have the resources • Many Agents have a background in training Czech, Russia, Rumania, Hungary • Do you have trainer resource • Not considered a problem • Does the training need to be delivered in local language • Yes
