Mentor and Leadership Training The goal of the Mentor and Leadership Training is to cultivate a campus-wide community of mentors, develop practical mentoring skills, and empower students to become better leaders and mentors on campus and throughout the community. • Quarterly Trainings held throughout Western Washington • Campus wide • Facilitated by AmeriCorps Members • Includes Peer-to-Peer and Peer-to-Youth Mentoring programs

  6. Instructions Stay in your group of three Your team will be asked to complete 7 obstacles Take the TWO cloth strips with you from your seats & proceed to foyer Wait for further instructions

  7. F.E.L.I.N.E. Objectives Safe and fun environment where attendees will understand: communication barriers assumptions that they make when working with others Example of an effective, highly interactive training activity: building community empowering students to overcome obstacles together Bridging gap between leadership theory and application
