  2. Empowering Veterans to Live the American Dream since 1993 Operation Stand Down Nashville, Inc. (OSDN) is the primary non-profit resource for Veterans in Middle Tennessee providing a wide range of life-changing social services including employment readiness training and placement assistance, transitional housing and appropriate referrals. Clients are honorably discharged Veterans. OSDN’s ultimate goal is to provide Veterans the ‘tools’ and support needed to rejoin their community as productive, responsible citizens.

  4. 2013 Heroes Breakfast Keynote Speaker: . Dream. Tony Mendez CIA operative Tony Mendez led the rescue of six U.S. diplomats from Tehran Iran, during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis and the Academy Award winning film ARGO, directed by Ben Affleck, became the best picture of the year for 2012

  6. Honorary Chair RONNIE MCDOWELL Best known for his visual and vocal resemblance to Elvis Presley, Ronnie McDowell has enjoyed a series of Top Ten hits on the country charts. McDowell was born in 1950 and raised in the small town of Portland, TN, and started singing publicly while serving the Navy in the Philippines. He hit big in 1977 with "The King Is Gone," a tribute to Presley written immediately after the singer's death; the song climbed into the Top 20 of both the pop and country charts.
