  1. B Production and Decay meeting at CDF September 18, 2007 B Physics Plans at KISTI and KNU Hyunwoo Kim on behalf of Kihyeon CHO and Daejeong KONG KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information) And Kyungpook National University

  2. Observation of Bs (2S) • In Standard Model, Feynman diagrams are same. • Br(B0 (2S)K*0)/Br(B0 J/K*0) = 0.61  0.10 • Br(B+(2S)K+) / Br(B+ J/K+) = 0.64  0.06  0.07 • Br(BS(2S) ) / Br(BS J/  ) = ??? Data Size: 355 pb^-1 20.2  5.0 events Br(BS(2S) ) / Br(BS J/  ) = 0.520.13 0.06(br) 0.04(sys)

  3. B Physics Plan @ KISTI + KNU B -> J/Ψ π+π-K+ has larger BR than B -> Ψ(2s) K+

  4. Bs -> J/Ψ π+ π-Φ Could be a good method to separate production mechanism • Internal pop up v.s. Higher resonance state ? • X(3872) or ψ(2s) -> J/Ψ π+π- ? Br(B0 J/ π+ π-K*0) / Br(B0 (2s)(J/ π+ π- ) K*0 ) Br(B+ J/ π+ π-K+) / Br(B+(2s)(J/ π+ π- ) K+ ) Br(BS J/ π+ π- ) / Br(BS(2s)(J/ π+ π- )  ) charmonium-> J/psi pi+pi- J/psi K*0, K+, pi K*0, K+ phi pi, K

  5. (B0 or Bs ) -> Ψ(2s) π+ π- (K*0 or Φ) • First observations charmonium-> Psi(2s) pi+pi- Psi(2s) K*0, K+, pi K*0, K+ phi pi, K

  6. Collaboration of KISTI and KNU Daejeong KONG and Yuchul YANG from KNU Will take care of real data analysis Kihyeon CHO and Hyunwoo KIM(myself) will Take care of MC generation and analysis using Pacific CAF that includes KorCAF at KNU and A new CAF at KISTI

  7. Tsukuba U KNU KISTI ASGC, Taiwan Pacific CAF and KISTIResources

  8. J/psi 1 K*0, K+, pi pi, K 2 J/psi K*0, K+, phi pi pi 3 charmonium-> J/psi pi+pi- K*0, K+, phi
