  11. To Become a Member • Top 1/8 of Junior or 1/5Senior Class • Completed CHE 317 prior to pledging • Complete a semester long pledge process

  12. Pledge Process • Attend all Pledge Meetings • Hold officer hours (2hrs/week) • 2 Service Events (Burger Plate) • 3 Social Events • Pay Dues • Attend Faculty Fireside • Research Inquiry • Attend Induction Ceremony • Have Fun

  13. Office Hours • Be in the OXE room and available to tutor • Sell Snacks and Drinks • Stock the Fridge • Can do your own HW when not tutoring… …or hang out with “friends”

  14. Service Events • Local area cleanup: October 2 • Race for the Cure: November 2 • Halloween Can Food Drive: TBA • Burger Plate: October 8

  15. Social Events • Amy’s Ice Cream: Sunday, September 21 • Potluck, karaoke: TBA • BOAT PARTY: October 18

  16. Faculty Firesides & Research Inquiries • Visit with selected ChE Professors at their homes and talk to them about engineering, life, careers, etc. • Select a Professor to talk to about their current research; give a short overview to the group
