Mission To develop RDI policy and ensure that Hungary adequately invest in RDI by funding excellent research and supporting innovation to increase competitiveness. Mandate To prepare the RDI strategy of the Hungarian Government, to handle the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, and represents the Hungarian Government and a Hungarian RDI community in international organizations. Vision To be a world-class RDI funding agency, create an internationally attractable RDI environment in Hungary, and a stronger link of RDI to the economy and society for increase growth and prosperity. www.nkfih.gov.hu

  8. Pilot projects in Hungary The project RAPIDE - Bringinginnovativeproducts and servicestothe market more quickly-was an example of a RFEC project activeonpre-commercialprocurement. The RAPIDE InnovativeProcurementWorking Group ledby Észak-Alföld Region (HU) pilotedtheapplication of structuralfundsresourcestosetuppre-commercialprocurementprogrammes.
