Schematic Design Why Should DFM Analysis Be Done in Design? I want to minimize the total product cost! PCB Layout I want to modify the product to lower the manufacturing cost! Fabrication NPI I want to maximize my profit! Fabrication Execution Assembly NPI I am concerned more with the quality of the product as delivered than product reliability. Assembly Execution I want to be the sole-source manufacturer.
