Ignorance is bliss. This statement is purely wrong. Ignorance can only lead to one thing and no, it’s not bliss – it’s more problems. With the world getting exponentially abused of its resources, there is an urgent need for a shift in policy and initiatives towards reducing the burden on earth and downtrodden communities, something that nonprofit organizations in Canada can help with. While global warming has been a constant issue of concern for many years now, the refugee issue has come into the spotlight due to the Ukraine-Russia war. These are situations that warrant a greater need for action and not more discussions.
Nonprofit Organizations: The Silver Lining While many individuals are working to the best of their ability to bring positive change in the world, one of the most potent change-makers are nonprofit organizations or charities such as Cansef. Global warming charities Canada address their efforts towards measures to be adopted to fight climate change while other charities push their efforts towards helping immigrants and refugees. There are some charities that also work towards a purpose such as establishing equality in society, eliminating racial injustice, providing everyone with equal rights and opportunities, and more.

Employment Skills – Helping newcomers find respected employment opportunities by providing relevant training. Ethics and Morals – Ensuring that society treats everyone equally and has high moral values.
Corporate Social Responsibility – Helping corporations do their bit in making the world a better place to live in. Giving Back and Volunteering – Volunteering to help in humanitarian crises and uplift underprivileged communities.
