Synerject Profile • Established in 1997 • A leading supplier of electronic engine management systems, modules, and components for both 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines in port and direct injection applications • Since April 2009 a 58:42 joint venture of Continental Automotive and Orbital Corporation • Organized in 4 segments to address the individual customer and market needs: • Recreation, which covers high-end 2-wheeler, ATV, Snowmobile, PWC • Marine, mainly outboard engines • Low end2/3 wheeler, mainly China, Taiwan, ASEAN and India • Utility, mainly Lawn & Garden and Stationary Engines • Good to know • 45% of the net income will be paid to the parents via normal dividends, of which 58% is paid to Continental Automotive USA and 42% is paid to the minority owner. • Synerject is buying more than 50% of its material from Continental • Synerject is well advanced regarding auto-code generation of application software • Synerject is benchmark in N.
