  1. PSAP Callback IETF#81, Quebec City, Canada draft-holmberg-ecrit-callback-00 Christer.Holmberg@ericsson.com

  2. REQUIREMENTS • 1. Ensure that the PSAP callback call reaches the same device that made the associated emergency call. • 2. Identify that the call is a PSAP callback call. • Applies not only UA, but also ”home network”, in order to give special treatment (e.g. service disabling) to the PSAP callback call.

  3. EXPLICIT vs IMPLICIT (REQ#2) • Do we need an explicit callback indicator, or is an implicit enough? • The draft proposes a dedicated feature tag, but there has been off-line discussions about using a GRUU (“eGRUU”). • UA would use eGRUU when making emergency call • Home registrar would identify PSAP callback based on eGRUU

  4. PROPOSAL TO THE WG • 1. AGREE ON REQUIREMENTS • 2. START WORK ON PROTOCOL MECHANISM

  5. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!
